Barış Girişmen

Hi, I’m an indie software engineer in İstanbul.

I build apps and automations for Revealed Recordings, Hardwell’s record label, and distribute its releases. I’m also on the design team of Omarchy, where I led the website redesign we shipped .

  1. DHHI think the current homepage design/layout for Omarchy has outgrown itself! I’d like to spin up a new Omarchy Design team to work on that (and other projects). Interested? Send a redesign of the homepage to design@omarchy.org. If it vibes, you’re in.
  2. Barış GirişmenHere’s my redesign of the Omarchy website 👾The site has five main pages: Home, Manual, Plugins, Themes, and NewsPlay with the shaders, then hit T or click a wordmark to switch between some Omarchy themes
  3. Omarchy DesignDHH brings me onto the team, and we start getting it ready to launchSep 3
  4. DHHOmarchy now has the coolest website I’ve ever seen. Truly incredible work by the Omarchy website design team lead by @BarisGirismen. This is what computers can look (and sound) like! omarchy.org
  5. Barış GirişmenExcited to share my Omarchy website redesign is now the official site, and I’ve joined the new Omarchy Design team! It’s crazy to think this all happened in just days. Working with @dhh and the team has been incredible. Looking forward to what we’ll build together!
  6. Omarchy NewsOmarchy.org redesign launches with 29 languages
  7. DHHThe new Omarchy site is amazing. The momentum of the future, the age of agents delivering a concrete and superb experience, all mixed with the aesthetics of the demo scene. It all comes together beautifully! This work was lead by the amazing Barış Girişmen! Who I connected with just from an open call on X. This man should be swimming in work. Unbelievably talented!

You can find me on X, GitHub, LinkedIn, or email me.
